The Maples Group (previously Maples and Calder) has hired shipping partner Jonathan Silver and associate Rachel Wong in Hong Kong from Norton Rose Fulbright.
Silver, who will lead the offshore firm’s Asia shipping team, previously led Norton Rose Fulbright’s North Asia shipping group and co-led its Republic of Marshall Islands law practice. He and Wong are joined by legal manager Maggie Wang and assistant vice president Edwin Lo, who were both paralegals at Norton Rose Fulbright.
