Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s highest-paid partner took home 68% more in the 2014-15 financial year compared to the previous year, the firm’s limited liability partnership (LLP) accounts reveal.

Accounts filed with Companies House show the highest-paid partner received £3.2m in the year to 30 April 2015, up from £1.9m the previous year, with this increase, which included payments relating to retirement, coming against a 7.5% drop in average profit per equity partner.
