Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) has posted an operating loss of £5.1m in the six months to July, following the restructuring of its personal injury and clinical negligence arms.

Revenue for the CLS, which operates as an alternative business structure (ABS), fell 28% from £18m for the same period in 2013 to £13m this year, though there were significant increases in revenue from its family, wills and probate businesses.
