Clifford Chance (CC) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have advised on the spin-off of Barclays private equity arm.
The deal, which completed yesterday (14 November), saw Barclays Capital sell Barclays Private Equity to its management team, with the business re-launching as Equistone Partners Europe. Barclays will remain an investor in Equistone, which will continue to manage its existing three funds on behalf of investors.
