Chief Ombudsman Elizabeth France is set to become the first chair of the Office of Legal Complaints, it was announced today (10 October). Legal Services Board (LSB) chair David Edmonds has named France as the Board's choice for the position at the helm of the OLC, a decision that has been approved by the Lord Chancellor. France is set to take on the role subject to an appearance before the Justice Selection Committee on 21 October.
