DLA Piper has a new head of corporate for the Middle East region after the hire of a senior partner from Australian firm Minter Ellison. Peter Monk, who specialises in M&A and private equity work, joined the transatlantic firm on 3 February. At Minter Ellison he helped oversee the developments of the firm's Asian practice and was also a member of the international partner selection committee.
