Finance lawyers. Bless 'em - they can't have much to do with their time at the moment. Which - partially - explains the popularity of the following email attachment, which has been doing the rounds for the last couple of weeks (never misses a trick, The Diary). For those of you too low down the food chain to have received it yet, the email features a wry briefing on the joys of collateralised debt obligations that soon degenerates (or perhaps 'evolves' would be more apt) into lawyer and client repeatedly instructing each other to, erm, file stuff where the sun doesn't shine.
