Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison has promoted five lawyers to its partnership, the New York leader announced on Monday (3 December). The bulk of the new partners, who join the firm's partnership as of 1 January, are based in New York, with just one, Beijing corporate partner Greg Liu, based outside. The other promotions see litigators Susanna Buergel and Roberto Finzi, employee benefits and executive compensation specialist Lawrence Witdorchic and corporate associate Steven Williams all made up to partner at the 500-lawyer firm.
