Barclays Wealth, the offshore and private banking arm of the UK financial services giant, has appointed Baker & McKenzie London private banking partner Jonathan Burt to the newly created non-legal role of senior wealth advisor.

Burt leaves Bakers’ City office after seven years in the global firm’s private banking division, where he advised high-net worth individuals, trustees and private banks on cross-border taxation, the creation and taxation of trusts, investment taxation and multi-jurisdictional estate planning.
