Bond Pearce professional indemnity partner Erik Salomonsen has been named as the new president of the Devon & Exeter Law Society. Salomonsen, a litigator and also a trained mediator, has practised at the 68-partner firm's offices in Plymouth and Exeter for 32 years. He takes over in the role from incumbent president Chris Hart, managing partner of Torquay practice Hooper & Wollen, and will represent around 1,000 solicitors in the southwest region.
