Allen & Overy (A&O) has landed a high-profile corporate mandate advising two Macquarie infrastructure funds on their £1.9bn acquisition of UK public safety communications network Airwave 02 from Telefonica.
The acquisition by Guardian Digital Communications, a company wholly owned by Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group and Macquarie European Investment Fund II, was announced yesterday and completed today (20 April).
