I am currently working in the City but I'm thinking about working outside of London in a local firm. It's a difficult choice - I want a work-life balance but would get paid around £12,000 less. Is there really such a thing as a work-life balance as a solicitor or if you work locally do you just get paid less and still work as hard/long hours?
