Charles Russell has elected corporate finance partner James Holder as its new managing partner, with incumbent Grant Howell stepping down after eight years in the role. Howell, who will stand aside in April, will return to fee earning in the family department. Charles Russell is to also open a new office in Mayfair, housing the firm's property acquisition team and some of its private property and private client lawyers. It will be headed by head of property acquisition and management Richard Crosthwaite.
