Offshore leader Ogier has appointed investment funds partner Nick Kershaw as managing partner of its Jersey legal practice. Kershaw, who currently chairs the legal subcommittee of the Jersey Funds Association, has been a partner at Ogier for 10 years, having joined from Clifford Chances London HQ. Over the last five years he has been a member of both Ogiers executive and strategy boards. Kershaw succeeds Sarah Fitz, who has been Jersey managing partner since 2000.
