Osborne Clarke (OC) is holding talks with local lawyers in a bid to revamp its European alliance presence in Scandinavia. The move follows the decision by its 23-lawyer Danish arm to break away from the firm’s network last month.

OC declined to comment on which firms it has approached, although managing partner Simon Beswick singled out Sweden as the most important jurisdiction in the region, rather than Denmark, which prior to the split was the alliance’s only Nordic base.
