A&O recruits Milberg veteran for US white-collar push

Allen & Overy (A&O) has hired the former name partner of embattled class action giant Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman, Patricia Hynes, as the magic circle firm looks to strengthen its New York litigation practice.

Hynes, who joins the firm’s 25-lawyer US litigation group as senior counsel, is one of the most prominent lawyers to have left the New York firm since its indictment in May.
