Jenner & Block corporate chief Osborne to take on one of top US general counsel roles

General Motors (GM) has appointed Jenner & Block head of corporate Robert Osborne as its new general counsel.
Osborne, who has advised the company for more than 20 years, will join the troubled car maker in September, replacing Tom Gottschalk who will remain with the company in the role of head of law and public policy.
