A&O snares Freshfields China veteran

Allen & Overy (A&O) has hired Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s respected head of competition in China, as the firm looks to grow its Beijing presence.

Thomas Jones, who joined on 1 May, becomes the second partner in A&O’s 15-lawyer Beijing office – the firm’s smallest arm in its Greater China practice.
