Wragge & Co’s property team has completed its first deal for new client Miller Developments. Partner Mark Chester advised the property company on its £33m acquisition of the Market Gates shopping centre in Great Yarmouth with tax partner Lee Nuttall and property finance partner Colin Hurt. They worked alongside Miller Group head of legal Julie Jackson. Eversheds property partners Nick Bartlett and Bruce Dear advised the sellers Anglo Halladale Limited Partnership.
Herbert Smith has advised Liberty Property Trust on the disposal of a £125m portfolio of 19 office buildings. The disposal took place through a joint venture with Doughty Hanson Real Estate. Herbert Smith real estate partners Shelagh McKibbin and Chris De Pury advised Liberty assisted by corporate partner Scott Cochrane. White & Case corporate partner Ashley Ballard and real estate partners David Cox and Lorraine Ufland acted for Doughty.
