Simmons & Simmons senior partner Janet Gaymer has been appointed to the position of Commissioner for Public Appointments, a role she will take up after she stands down from her management role in August next year.
Gaymer, one of the UK’s pre-eminent employment solicitors, will monitor and regulate appointments to approximately 900 public bodies across England and Wales.
