Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has voted to retain its dual senior partner model after a partnership ballot – causing French partner Jean-Luc Michaud to withdraw from the firm’s upcoming leadership election.
The result, announced internally today (26 October), means four UK candidates will now battle to become the firm’s UK senior partner to work opposite Konstantin Mettenheimer, the only German senior partner candidate.
