Herbies beats opposition to £464m Tullow financing

Herbert Smith’s London energy fi nance team has beaten tough competition to advise a consortium of banks on Tullow Oil’s $850m (£464m) energy financing

A team from Herbert Smith led by head of fi nance Jason Fox acted for joint arrangers ABN Amro, Bank of Scotland and BNP Paribas on the deal, beating competition from Linklaters and Allen & Overy.
