International News: (Thailand) CC settles Bangkok dismissal dispute

Clifford Chance (CC) has settled an employment dispute with a former Thai lawyer for a fraction of the original claim.

The firm last week confirmed it had paid out $27,500 (£15,300) to Udom Prepraemvatana, a fraction of the $12.9m (£7.2m) lawsuit filed originally for unfair dismissal and defamation in May this year.
