UK national giant Eversheds is to slash its US alliances from more than 15 firms to a maximum of five in a bid to further consolidate its international network.

The firm is in the midst of negotiations with a number of US firms it works with and has assembled an informal working party with a brief to reshuffle its US strategy. Previously the UK firm has worked with the likes of Dorsey & Whitney, Cooley Godward, Jones Day and Reed Smith.
