Duo to fight for Cardpoint role

Halliwells and Olswang look set to battle it out for a future lead counsel position after advising on the £90m acquisition of UK auto-mated teller machine (ATM) operator Moneybox by rival Cardpoint.

Halliwells advised Cardpoint on the deal, which is subject to shareholder approval and is due to close in early August.
