Baker & McKenzie has unveiled a sharp rise in profits for its London practice, with profits per equity partner up by a third from £335,000 last year to £445,000.

Turnover was £92m for the firm’s financial year, up by 9.5% from £84m. The Chicago-based giant’s firm-wide results have yet to be finalised. UK managing partner Gary Senior said: ” Unless you are expanding significantly, the profitability is very sensitive to the turnover figure.”
