Travers Smith advised Trafford Centre Finance on its issue of £354m notes in addition to the original securitisation of The Trafford Centre, with proceeds going to the Peel Holdings Group. Banking partner James Richards led for Travers, while Allen & Overy finance partner Christian Lambie acted for lead manager Royal Bank of Scotland.
Slaughter and May advised Wessex Water Services on a series of five bilateral facility agreements with Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, National Australia Bank and Bayerische Landesbank, worth £250m. Slaughters finance partner Simon Hall led the team while all five banks were advised in house.
