DLA Piper in talks to absorb Polish ally

DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary is attempting to bolster its Central and Eastern European (CEE) platform as the firm moves to merge with its Polish affiliate, Lukowicz & Wspolnicy.

DLA Piper, which currently has CEE offices in the Czech Republic and Hungary, said it has begun preliminary talks to secure its own office in Warsaw via integration with the 32-lawyer Lukowicz, which joined DLA’s alliance last October.
