All too frequently, firms are caught off-guard by complaints and harassment issues, and are failing to recognise the competitive advantage that a sound diversity strategy can bring. Why is it that many legal firms are failing to address diversity issues? What can they do to improve diversity training throughout the company?

One of the major strengths of the legal profession is its attractiveness as a career, however, that is also one of its downfalls. Diversity initiatives that increase the number of applications are simply not required by legal firms that wade through enough applications each year for a decade’s intake.
