Hammonds has secured the backing of 83 of its 85 equity partners for a high stakes deal to lock in partners until July 2006 but faced a fresh setback as it emerged that high-profile corporate partner Patrick Somers is quitting the firm.
Hammonds confirmed on Monday (4 April) that all but two of its equity partners had signed up for the deal, which will take effect from the beginning of May.
