Three out of four partners believe there is a shortage of top firms that are prepared to take on litigation against the major banks, according to the latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question poll.

In the survey of more than 100 senior lawyers, 41% of the respondents said firms’ reluctance to act against investment banks for fear of losing out on lucrative transactional work was leading to a ‘major shortage’ of practices with sufficient expertise to take on the banks.
