Eversheds to shut Manchester bulk team

Eversheds is to close its remortgaging team in Manchester in a move that is expected to lead to the loss of 26 local jobs.

Four support staff and 22 mortgage handlers from the firm’s volume property services (VPS) team, based in the Mount Street office, are likely to lose their jobs as a result of the decision. A consultation period is due to close in Manchester on 9 March.
