Reed buys CRM developer

The Reed Elsevier Group has bought Interface Software, the developer of the popular InterAction customer relation-ship management (CRM) software for law firms.

Reed is buying up all of Interface’s outstanding shares for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition of Interface Software – a privately held software house that occupies a dominant position in the legal CRM market – brings InterAction under the management of LexisNexis, Reed’s legal publishing division.
