Weil Gotshal seals long-awaited buy-out hire with ex-Travers man

Weil Gotshal & Manges has ended its long-running search for a senior private equity lawyer hire by bagging ex-Travers Smith Braith-waite partner Mark Soundy.

Soundy, who will join the New York firm’s London arm on 6 September, left Travers in June after 17 years, seeking a career break.
