Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) $3.75m (£2.03m) offer to settle a case relating to the collapse of San Francisco giant Brobeck Phleger & Harrison has been rejected by the legacy US firm’s liquidation committee.
In a filing on 23 July, the Brobeck liquidation committee asked the San Francisco Bankruptcy Court to reject the settlement, citing the court-appointed trustee Ronald Greenspan for his “irresponsible” conduct.
