Dewey Ballantine’s German arm has boosted its private equity practice in Frankfurt with the hire of Baker & McKenzie partner Benedikt von Schorlemer. Von Schorlemer joins Dewey’s 11-lawyer Frankfurt arm on 1 August, securing the New York firm an early boost as it moves to expand its infant private equity practice. Dewey launched the practice in Frankfurt last month with the hire of Marcus Federle from Norton Rose.
