Slaughter and May has won the tender to advise on the demutualisation of Standard Life, beating a number of City firms to land the lucrative instruction.
Corporate partners Glen James and Craig Cleaver are leading Slaughters’ team on the deal, which is expected to involve a £5bn flotation and could take around 18 months.
