Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) is conducting a firm-wide overhaul of the IT facilities it provides to about 1,000 partners and staff in a bid to increase its lawyers’ productivity.
Following an audit to identify tasks that created difficulties and obstacles for fee earners, the firm is planning to upgrade a large proportion of its desktop hardware and to migrate onto a new word processing platform – Microsoft Office 2003, running on Microsoft XP with Active Directories.
