Fried Frank, SJ Berwin team up on Permira deal

New York’s Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson has teamed up with London funds leader SJ Berwin to close the $5.9bn Permira Europe III – one of the largest private equity funds ever raised in Europe.

Europe III has attracted more than 130 investors in just six months. It will make leveraged and equity-driven acquisitions in European businesses or in global businesses with a strong European presence.
