Herbert Smith lands new client in £480m deal

Herbert Smith has won house-building company Wilson Connolly as a new client after acting on its agreed £480m sale to Taylor Woodrow, creating the UK’s fourth-largest property company.

The top 10 London firm picked up the work after previously representing Wilson Connolly’s chief executive Graeme McCallum, while he was at Alfred McAlpine Homes. Corporate partner Tim Bellis is leading Herbert Smith’s team.
