Herbert Smith in clear over Independent

Denton Wilde Sapte has cleared Herbert Smith of any blame for the collapse of its client Independent Insurance.

Dentons was called in by the insurance company’s liquidators, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), to investigate potential claims against Independent’s advisers after a conflict prevented Herbert Smith from conducting the work.
