Merger chartThe tie-up of Mayer Brown & Platt with Rowe & Maw has been dubbed as the most successful transatlantic merger to date, ahead of Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) ground-breaking deal with Rogers & Wells in 2000.

The results of this week’s Big Question survey, in association with EJ Legal, saw 30% of the panel cite Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw as the most successful US/UK merger, against 23% for CC.
