Three firms are major winners in Brobecks break-up

Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker, O’Melveny & Myers and Pillsbury Winthrop have emerged as the major winners in the scramble to bag top lawyers from crumbling Brobeck Phleger & Harrison.

While 23 US firms have hired departing partners from the fracturing tech specialist, the three practices attracted some of Brobecks’ most respected names (see box).
