An article in the Partnership section of the 6 February, 2003 edition of Legal Week, headed “Watching the Collective”, written by James Haddleton and Paula Johnson of DLA, analysed the House of Lords judgment in Dubai Aluminium Co. Limited v Salaam and others. In the article, reference was made to allegations that had been made in the course of those proceedings by the Claimant, Dubai Aluminium, against Mr Anthony Amhurst. In relation to those allegations, the authors of the article are happy to make clear that:

- as was made clear by Lord Nicholls at the beginning of the House of Lords judgment, Mr Amhurst has always denied that he was guilty of dishonesty, as alleged, the issue of dishonesty was never tried and there was no finding by the Court that he acted dishonestly in any respect;
