Shipping leader Clyde & Co has highlighted a ‘ludicrous’ Government plan to reform court fees that it says would lead to some commercial claims costing upwards of £10m just to be filed.

Litigation partner Peter Farthing has written to the Court Service to warn that the plan would deal a body blow to the Commercial Court, forcing companies to litigate in other countries.
