Lewis Silkin lays off two assistants

Lewis Silkin has become the latest City firm to make redundancies after cutting two assistants from its 12-lawyer corporate department.

The 38-partner London firm notified those affected last week, although it has not finalised leaving dates. No support staff are expected to be affected.
