Linklaters has maintained its unprecedented pole position in the global M&A rankings as research published today (4 October) shows the London giant once again the top-ranked corporate adviser in 2002.

Thomson Financial’s global M&A tables for the third quarter show Linklaters as the clear leader, advising on announced deals valued at $205.9bn (£132.8bn) well head of nearest US rival Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.
