The high profile defection of Norton Rose’s four-partner acquisition finance team to Allen & Overy (A&O) has resurfaced once more in the news – much, no doubt, to Norton Rose’s chagrin.

Having endured the initial humiliation of the A&O raid, Norton Rose is now understood to have been obliged to lift the heavy client-tapping restrictions it imposed upon the team, led by Tim Polglase.
