Canadian firm McCarthy Tetrault has hired seven partners from the local law firm of accountant Ernst & Young. The tied firm, known locally as Donahue LLP, will also see its Calgary office lose two of counsel and 14 associates from the energy team.

Glen Ireland, McCarthy Tetrault’s London managing partner, said: “The addition of this large team reinforces our ability to service our clients in international project development.”
