The UK’s top law firms are being encouraged to sign up to a project to adopt Identrus – a proprietary scheme owned by a group of investment banks – as a common standard for data encryption.
The proposal was outlined by the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) on 18 June at a meeting hosted by the Law Society.
